Julie Stockwell brings over 25 years of experience in secondary education, having worked across a wide range of roles and subject areas throughout her career. Her professional journey has spanned classroom teaching, student support, curriculum planning and leadership, all driven by a deep commitment to student wellbeing and learning outcomes. Arcadia College has marked a meaningful shift in Julie’s career, particularly through her involvement in the dynamic and growing field of Distance Education. This unique environment has allowed her to explore new ways of teaching, connecting, and engaging with students and families beyond the traditional classroom. Julie is passionate about fostering strong relationships with students, their families and staff. She believes that connection is at the heart of learning, and she works to ensure every young person feels seen, supported and capable of success.

Aaron Devine is a respected education and board executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in Australia's top educational institutions. He's dedicated to student success, ensuring equitable access to quality education for all, regardless of their circumstances.
Aaron's expertise spans both tertiary and school education. He led the establishment of TAFE Queensland Brisbane with over 40,000 students was the CEO of the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE, and led Charles Darwin University and the Drysdale Institute to Training Provider of the Year. His background also includes legal experience as a Solicitor in Victoria, specializing in Commercial Law, Civil Litigation, and Employment Law.
Aaron has held key advisory roles in the Tasmanian government, serving as a Senior Adviser to the former Premier of Tasmania and Senior Policy Adviser to the Minister for Vocational Education and Training.
Aaron is highly regarded for his governance and leadership skills and his expertise is regularly sort in his role as a non-executive director.

Tahlia is the Principal of Arcadia College. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the school and holds a Bachelor of Education (Secondary), a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies (Psychology), and a Master of Forensic Mental Health. Additionally, she is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Southern Cross University, researching the topic of School Improvement through the Arts. Tahlia believes that Arcadia College provides a unique form of education. The motivated and committed staff facilitate an innovative and flexible educational program, with a focus on individual opportunity and success. Tahlia is very proud of how the school has grown and evolved since its beginning. As the school moves to a new campus at Robina in 2021, Tahlia’s focus is to continue to cater for a unique student group, and to foster and support their individual successes. The aim is that the students will be healthy, happy, and successful learners who continue on their individual pathways into a prosperous adulthood. Tahlia draws inspiration from Elliot Eisner; an educator and educational researcher. His quote: “Art is literacy of the Heart.” is among Tahlia’s favourites. On weekends and school holidays, Tahlia can be found performing at venues on the Gold Coast as a Country Music Artist. She has also toured and recorded in Tennessee, USA.


Jenny is the Chief Financial Officer for Arcadia College, Ohana College and Ohana for Youth. With over 20 years of senior financial leadership experience, she has worked extensively across education, not-for-profit, and corporate sectors. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Griffith University and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA). In her role, Jenny leads financial strategy, corporate governance, payroll, and budgeting. She has significant experience in both school and higher education environments. Jenny is known for her clear and strategic approach to financial management, strong governance skills and commitment to sustainable growth. Jenny is passionate about supporting youth-focused programs. She believes that responsible financial stewardship plays a vital role in enabling schools and organisations to deliver meaningful outcomes. Her leadership helps ensure that resources are effectively managed to benefit students and the wider community.
