To address the high need for our safe, inclusive and progressive form of secondary education we are building a new school and Youth Hub at Centreline Place in Robina, right next to the train station to ensure accessibility.

The new school will have many benefits that includes increasing enrolment from 190 to 300 students. It will also allow us to increase the number students graduating each year from 40 to 50 saving up to $50million for taxpayers – making your local community a safer and a more inclusive place.

To deepen and broaden our impact  a Youth Hub will be built to provide a holistic solution extending our support services to families and the wider community. Complete with education, employment, medical, welfare and specialised services it will create a long-term sustainable solution. Changing the lives of generations of future Gold Coasters.

We need your help to complete this $12million project. Please donate today.

Arcadia College and the Youth Hub is a 3000m2 building and will be built in two stages with construction due to begin in mid 2018 and finalised in early 2020.

Stage one will see the construction of a three level building which will house the grade 7, 8 and 9 classrooms, tuckshop, basketball court and corporate offices.

Stage two, a four level building will commence construction in early 2019. It will accommodate the grade 10,11 and 12 classrooms along with a student wellbeing centre which includes a nurse, psychologist and career counsellor. The gym and recreational centre, IT hub, rock climbing wall, music room and art studio will also be included in this stage.

The Youth Hub will round off the project extending to families and the wider community by providing employment, medical, welfare and specialised services.

The grounds, although small will see simple gardens, recreational space and an outdoor theatre.

Design Features

The design will be different from your traditional school. This futuristic learning environment will promote creativity while fostering inclusion and wellbeing. Classrooms can be reconfigured for multiple purposes promoting collaboration in a lounge setting or separated for small group work.

With many of our students not having the privilege of sharing a meal at home and with nutrition being so important for health and concentration, rooms are fitted with kitchens where students prepare and share meals in a collaborative setting.

Exercise has proven key in keeping student’s physically and mentally healthy. That is why we have incorporated a basketball court, indoor rock climbing, gym and recreational centre where students can participate in yoga, drama or pilates.

The importance of technology for furthering a student’s education or future employment is ever growing. A technology hub has been designed with a robotics lab, workshop and games centre. This will also cater for the growing number of autistic students we care for who have a high interest in technology and creativity.

We are currently seeking donations large and small from people like you, looking to make a difference. Your donation will go to helping young people in your local Gold Coast community.

With construction of the Arcadia College and Youth Hub commencing in early 2018, we urgently need your help.

This is a once in a life-time opportunity to be part of this life changing project.
