Tahlia believes that Arcadia College provides a unique form of education. The motivated and committed staff facilitate an innovative and flexible educational program, with a focus on individual opportunity and success. Tahlia is very proud of how the school has grown and evolved since its beginning.
As the school moves to a new campus at Robina in 2021, Tahlia’s focus is to continue to cater for a unique student group, and to foster and support their individual successes. The aim is that the students will be healthy, happy, and successful learners who continue on their individual pathways into a prosperous adulthood.
Tahlia draws inspiration from Elliot Eisner; an educator and educational researcher. His quote: “Art is literacy of the Heart.” is among Tahlia’s favourites.
On weekends and school holidays, Tahlia can be found performing at venues on the Gold Coast as a Country Music Artist. She has also toured and recorded in Tennessee, USA.

Carley and the Wellbeing team at Arcadia College support student mental health, learning, attendance, social skills and emotional regulation. They assess individual learning issues, produce support documents, work with staff and students to personalise learning, and most importantly create success stories.
Carley is excited about the new School at Robina opening in 2021 because of the new wellbeing spaces, offices and meeting rooms that will assist all staff in delivering a meaningful and personalised learning and wellbeing experience. The students will have access to a climbing wall, a cafeteria, basketball court, recording studio, and overall a place they can call their own.
Carley believes Arcadia College is a great school. The staff strive to personalise learning and wellbeing, build positive relationships, celebrate success and provide a second chance for many students. School doesn't have to be dull, boring or impossibly hard and students know that staff care.
In her spare time, Carley is an avid paraglider, enjoys yoga, hiking, and all things wellbeing.
