Arcadia College is an independent co-ed secondary school, offering an alternative approach to education for young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling.
Arcadia College fosters continuous engagement and caters to individual student needs and interests through tailored educational programs, with a strong emphasis on student well-being. Students develop essential literacy, numeracy, and life skills necessary for success in today's world. Arcadia College employs diverse learning strategies, including Project-Based Learning, a rich Arts program, Adventure-Based Learning, and dedicated life-skills programs, to promote active learning and growth.

Distance Education
Our Special Assistance School, located in Queensland, is open to students from Year 8 to Year 12 who are disengaged, or at risk of disengaging, from mainstream education. We use innovative teaching methods tailored for modern learners, offering access to rich digital resources and libraries. Our personalised learning programs accelerate student progress with tailored feedback to fast-track development. We provide full-circle care with the support of psychologists and student engagement officers, helping students forge ahead with both QCE and VET pathways. Included in our package are Apple MacBooks or iPads with on-call IT support. Students can connect with a vibrant online community and enjoy a free learning experience, with only a small materials levy.

My daughter started at Arcadia College in year 10 after 3 terms of being totally disengaged from school due to crippling anxiety. Now she is completing year 12 (and a pathway to university course). her attendance is above 90%, her participation in class and extra curricular activities is amazing but most importantly the smile on her face at the end of the day is priceless.
